MBK Bangkok – Which also goes by the name of Mahboonkrung is a massive shopping complex in the heart of Bangkok. MBK is 8 stories tall and has over 2000 stores inside. When I say massive, I mean it! It has anything that you can imagine. From electronics and iPhones to high end luxury watches, and knock-off jeans. The goods range from the very low end to the unobtainable to most shoppers ultra high-end.
You’ll find a wide range of clothes shops, electronics, gold shops, and low to high end watch shops. If you’re looking for a casio, vintage rolex, or a Patek Phillipe, you’ll probably be able to find it here.

The easiest way to get to MBK is by taking the Bangkok BTS Skytrain. If you’re riding the Sukhumvit line you will need to get off at Siam and cross over to the Silom line. From here you will take it to National Stadium which stops at MBK. You can also walk from Siam if you choose to but most prefer to get off at National Stadium.
Shopping isn’t the only thing you’ll find at MBK. There is a huge selection of restaurants to chose from as well. My favorite place to eat at MBK is CoCo Ichibans Curry House. It’s fantastic and I highly recommend you try it. MBK also contains a Cinema, Karaoke (which you’ll find out is very popular in Thailand), and even a Bowling Alley!
MBK is a great place to shop or to come for Dinner and a movie. Come check it out some time. You will not be disappointed.
